Third Nailing: Updating Existing Attachments
If your home was built before 2003, it may have roof to wall attachments that are NOT nailed correctly based on expired code. Often done from the Attic Space, adding a 3rd Nail to every attachment may bring them up to current Code and insurance requirements, offering significant insurance savings!
Correcting attachments from the attic space saves both time and money; its the most cost effective solution.
New Attachments Installed: Soffits & Attic
Your home may NOT have roof to wall attachments, or they may need replacement. If required, new attachment can be installed. Typically this can be done from the soffit area, under the roofs overhang.
New attachments (or Third Nailing existing clips or straps) can sometimes be accessed from both the attic and soffit area; requiring less soffit removal.
